Skip The Que
Emigrating from Ireland to Berlin has deepened my love for Irish artist and their music. My appreciation for Irish audiences has also only grown, their connection to music is a pleasure to experience and share in.  I started this collection of Illustrations as a way to reconnect with the feelings of home and identity that these songs evoke.

Women in the Machine
- VISUAL

I performed a multi-disciplined role for the Women in the Machine project. I predominantly acted as a marketing assistant communicating with artists, organising and categorising media sent to the project, as well as acting as a copy-editor. I also photographed the exhibition during the filming of the "72 Hour Lost Weekend", and produced the signage seen below. For this large scale poster, I produced QR codes online and made them into vectors so they would retain their clarity even when expanded or reduced. I then found a map of the factory layout, placed the QR codes in the approximate positioning of the art pieces during the video filming. I then styled it to the guidelines set by the project's lead designer.

Crybaby - Steph
I worked with an up-and-coming techno DJ to design cover art for his first EP Crybaby. This was an exciting project as we developed the direction for the design together. Stephen had an idea of the types of designs he appreciated but not the most precise idea of what he wanted the visual to look like. I started by making a design loosely inspired by some images he provided for me and my own research. When then paired this back, playfully tried out some ideas that had developed along the way, and collaboratively landed on the final design shown below.

Original concept design for EP. In this image, I wanted to pull inspiration from multiple sources with the intention of refining it once we identified the aspects that we were most drawn to. - May 2022.

In the final design, we paired the image back simplifying the design concept. - May 2022.

The Three Pillars Project
This was a project I undertook with visual artist Clare Breen and dance artist Vivian Brodie. The Three Pillars collaborative art sessions were run during the COVID-19 pandemic with 16 participants by video conference. Each week the group creatively explored themes of extension, texture, scale/space, and detail through movement research, dance tasks and mark-making.
I was asked to make a brochure that captured the essence of the project. It needed to be bright, colourful and utilised the drawings produced by the participants. One of the activities involved folding large pieces of card into a meandering snake, then used as a sketchbook. I incorporated that into the layout of the poster side of the brochure. I also used images drawn by the artists to create a Zoom space with quotes taken from their feedback in reference to the online nature of the project. Finally, the drawings decorating the lower half of the page are traced from the images on the poster side of the piece. Can you spot them all?

Faro
Business cards designed for the folk/trad band Faro.
When speaking with the band we decided we wanted to capture a connection to nature, and to design something reminiscent of 60’s and 70’s trad album covers, while also keeping it modern and sleek.

Quench
I was asked to make a logo design for a modern jazz group called Quench. The band consisted of all college aged musicians who wanted to project a bright and refreshing look. This is a mock-up sticker design.

When building the advertisement campaign for Trainspotting I made designs for different social media outlets. The above image is a A3 poster, with versions of cover photos for Facebook and Twitter. The square designs were made to be profile pictures on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp, and include snippets of dialogue from the characters photographed.

UX & UI Design
UI & UX design for a college project in which we updated a current website, in this instance Bunclody Community Swimming Pool, with a more user and design friendly version. As this was a group project I have only included the mobile version that I made independently.
